Payroll FAQ's

When is payroll processed?
Payroll is processed on Monday, with a timesheet cut off point of 10:00am. Timesheets processed on this day will be in your bank account on a Wednesday.

Please Note: Bank Holidays will affect this timetable

How wil Payment be made?
Payment is made by BACS transfer and therefore takes three days to clear into your account

Can I elect to receive me pay slip via email?
You most certainly can. Simply email payroll@pathwayrecruitment.com and request for your pay slip to be sent via email.

I have a query on my pay, how do I resolve this?
Please contact the payroll department on 01277 637 076. Have your current pay slip and the week ending date of the payment you wish to query to hand as you will need this in order for the team to be able you assist you with your query.

Due to an error made by Pathway I have incurred Bank charges?
Pathway recognise that mistakes can occasionally happen and will refund any bank charges incurred as a result of an error on our part. However, we will need to be in receipt of the relevant bank statement highlighting these charges before any correction is made.

My NI number or Tax Code appears incorrect
Contact the payroll department immeadiately for the information to be amended or discussed

I am leaving/have left, how do I receive a P45?
Please call or email the payroll department and request a P45. This will be sent out to your home address, providing all your timesheets are up to your leaving date have been processed. Please allow five working days for receipt.

Do I receive sick pay?
Statutory sick pay (SSP) is only paid if a temp qualifies. This is payable after the 4th day of sickness and can only be paid if a medical certificate is provided.

SSp is payable at £75.40 per week or pro rata to a day, where applicable.

Can I receive maternity benefit?
Statutory maternity is paid if a temp qualifies. You will only qualify if you have been engaged with pathway Recruitment continuous service for 26 weeks up to and inclusive of the 15th week before expected week of birth and you must give 28 days notice. Evidence of pregnancy must also be provided.

Will I receive holiday pay?
All PAYE Temp workers are entitled to accure holiday entitlement, which will enable you to book and be paid for up to 24 days holiday per year. Please refer to our payroll and holiday guide.
